The City College of New York Architecture Alumni event was a great way for us students to inform the City College family of our project. We expanded our outreach by presenting our project intent. Great interest was expressed about the impact of our project upon the city we all learned and lived in. We were amongst past students, old and young, inexperienced and experienced, who provided fantastic support and encouragement. While discussing our rooftop application, we were coincidentally upon the rooftop of our Architecture school. The encompassing urban rooftops and the view of New York City’s infamous skyline were the perfect backdrop to our project and its future. The event was one of our early outreach attempts, and proved successful in launching Team New York at our home base, the Spitzer School of Architecture.
